4 Stars Amazing Ideas
I’m happy with this book and determined to visit as many of these locations as possible. My only complaint is that I like big, beautiful pictures of the locations which it was too small to provide.

4 Stars Wow, there are alot of places I need to see!
This book gives a wide variety of places to see, hike, explore. It distinguishes between driving tours, boat tours, walking tours, ect. I think its great for anyone thinking of traveling.

3 Stars gave book as gift, recipient says it is “ok”
Gave this book to my in-laws for Christmas as they are planning on traveling around the country in search of a new place to live at lower altitude. They have read through the book and say it is not really catered to any one type of traveler and that it is really all over the place. For example in one town it will mention one restaurant but not the really cool museum in the same town. I guess I would recommend this book not really as a travel guide but rather as a companion to a travel guide. Interesting places are highlighted for sure but not a lot of cohesiveness.

5 Stars Travel fun!
A fun way to see what you have experienced and what else you need to see and do!

5 Stars Great Fun
It is fun to page through this book and check off places you have been and see what places you might like to visit.

If you asked a hundred people for a thousand places to see before you die, you might get a list similar to this. There is no doubt that you can do what other reviewers have done and thought of something that should be on the list but isn’t. Overall however, this is a well thought out list with a wide variety of things to see and do.

This book is interesting in the types of ‘places’ it has listed. There are whole cities listed (Roswell, New Mexico), specific places within one city (Stockyards at Fort Worth Texas) and even events (Texas State Fair) and luxury hotels (Bellagio in Las Vegas). Some places listed cover several things all at once; for example, Food in New Orleans listed two or three very well known places to eat.

ChiRunning

More than 24 million people run in the United States alone, but 65 percent will have to stop at least once this year because of injury. Still others will choose to run through the pain. But in this groundbreaking book, ultramarathoner Danny Dreyer teaches us the running technique he created to heal and prevent injuries and also to run faster, farther, and with much less effort at any age.

ChiRunning employs the deep power reserves in the core muscles of the trunk, an approach that grows out of such disciplines as yoga, Pilates, and t’ai chi. This excellent step-by-step program offers training principles and is easily learned.

Dramatically reduce your potential for injury Make knee pain and shin splints a thing of the past Greatly reduce post-run recovery time Create a safe and effective training program Make running any distance enjoyable whether you’re a beginning runner or a seasoned competitor

5 Stars Great Book!!
More than just an instruction on running, an instruction on a better way to live and keep focus on your inner self. Take your time and its not so difficult. No pain, no pain.

5 Stars Amazing Book! A must have for any runner!
ChiRunning

My running coach told me this book would be a requirement for me if I was going to truly attain the goals I set for myself concerning running. I purchased it and have already read the book 3 times over. It truly teaches you a better and easier form of running. I have already increased my speed without any more effort. In fact, less effort. The book touches on every aspect of ones life and teaches you how to have a well balanced, well rounded life.

I would recommend this book to anyone that is a serious runner or a beginner runner that wants to really learn to run.

4 Stars Enlightening
I am enjoying this new way to look at and monitor my running performance.

This book is helping me to enjoy my running more as well as enabling me to receive feedback from my body.

2 Stars Chi-Running, more like cha-ching running
I am a running coach and had heard all the hype about this book so I felt compelled to buy it. At the end of the day, the information was not nearly as useful or revolutionary as the hype suggests. What it is, is merely a copy cat of “Pose running” with Ti-Chi attached.

Now I don’t have a problem with Ti-Chi, I just think it was the “juice” to sensationalize a system of running that is already in play. Well written, not much to argue with, I just was hoping for a bit more unique factor from the author which I did not find.

5 Stars Run Baby Run
This book is great for those who want to run correctly. As a Chiropractor, this book helps you run in an injury free way. For distance runners it is great, or for those who want to run for a long time at a slower pace. Ultramarathoners would benefit from this book too.
